Today's Reading is Isaiah 26; Psalms 55.9-15

The Lord will restore the nations Isaiah 26-27
Isaiah 26 is a song of praise to God. The emphasis in on righteousness and peace. Jesus Christ is the King of Righteousness and Peace (Hebrew 7.1-3) The resurrection is mentioned in verse 19 and in verse 21 the Second Coming and Judgement is mentioned.
The phrase 'in that day' (Isaiah 26.1; 27.1-2, 12-13) refers to the 'Day of the Lord'. Isaiah encourages the remnant who were suffering with seven illustrations as sources of encouragements. Jerusalem will be a strong city (26.1-6); the level path (26.7-11); the woman in travail; the life-giving dew (26.19-21).(Source: Be Comforted:Warren Wiersbe). Regardless of what happen God is in control.

This passage David asked God to confuse his enemies. Can we make such a request? Sure we can! Verse 13 is a Messianic prophecy of Judas the one who would betray Jesus.
