Today's Reading is Jeremiah 23.9-40

Jeremiah 23.9-40
This section deals with lying prophets. They told the people not to listen to jeremiah. The prophets are described in v. 9-12. They continued to give false assurances that everything was going to be all right despite the fact that Jeremiah pronounced an imminent invasion and captivity by the Babylonians.
Applcation We need to look out for lying prophets inside and ourside the churches that we attend. It is easy to recognize lying prophets against Scriptures. One of the big lies today is that we will escape the Tribulation!
