Isaiah 60 with Commentaries, verse by verse
Psalm 68 with Commentaries, verse by verse
Psalm 68.1-18 with Commentaries, verse by verse
The NIV Study Bible call this psalm a processional liturgy celebrating the glorious and triumphant rule of Israel's God. The start of the procession v. 1-3; Can you see God coming in victory over his enemies? We don't like to think of God that way. We like to think of Him as the God of Love but He is a holy God and is also a God of righteousness. We, who are Christians should be happy and joyful (v. 3). I love verse 5 'A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.' James 1:27 (New King James Version): Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. There are many more stuff to read in today's Psalm, enjoy!
