Jeremiah 47
Jeremiah prophesied a message about the Philistines..
Application: These were enemies of Judah for centuries. God remembers the enemies of His people and he will punish them. We can take comfort in that God is in control of everything. Do you see God as a God of love. What about a God of vengeance. We must understand that He is a holy God and He will not tolerate sin. For now mercy precedes judgement for us.
Verses to meditate:
6 " 'Ah, sword of the LORD,' you cry,
'how long till you rest?
Return to your scabbard;
cease and be still.'
