Psalm 42 with Commentaries, verse by verse
Psalm 56 with Commentaries, verse by verse
This psalm is a prayer of David asking for God's help for protection of his enemies. I love the phrase 'In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? this occurs twice in verse 4 and is repeted in verse 10 and 11. We are trusting in God. We do not need to be afraid of man because God is our Rock. (Psalm 27.1)
