Jeremiah spoke on the theme that no one is upright.

The destruction of Jerusalem will come because she turned away from God: 5:1-31


In v. 14
Therefore this is what the LORD God Almighty says:
"Because the people have spoken these words,
I will make my words in your mouth a fire
and these people the wood it consumes.

The word of God is fire! It can purifies or it can destroy!
