Jeremiah 2
Jeremiah condemns Judah for her sins. Judah was in apostasy. Judah was symbolized as been in marriage with God. She had been unfaithful to her husband God and has become a prostitute following after false gos.
Verses to meditate on:
13 "My people have committed two sins:
They have forsaken me,
the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold water.
Are we like Judah, at times. We forsake God and look for our own pleasures and sins and have prostituted ourselves.

Psalm 72 with Commentaries, verse by verse
This is a prayer for the king a son of David, who rules on David's throne as God's earthly king over Israel in justice and righteousness. The psalm was for or of Solomon. Even so more a son of David, Jesus Christ is king and will rule the world in righteousness and justice. The verse that I liked was in verse 11 'All kings will bow down to hum and all nations will serve him.'
