Jeremiah 13
Jeremiah gave object lessons from a linen belt (13.1-11) and wineskins (12-14).
He also spoke about thr threat of captivity from the Babylonians.
Application: From the linen belt:Do not be like the people of Jerusalem. They refuse to listen to God's word, they were stubbirn and followed after other gods. From the wineskins do not be drunkards like the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Verses to meditate on:
23 Can the Ethiopian [b] change his skin
or the leopard its spots?
Neither can you do good
who are accustomed to doing evil.

Psalm 78:1-31
Is a maskil of Asaph. Verses. 1-8 is of the style found in the book of Proverbs. Verse 12-16 is a summary of events that happened in Egypt. And verses 17-31 is a reminder of how the people rebelled against God in the wilderness. We should pay attention to the words spoken here, because they are words of teaching and instruction for us to follow.
