Jeremiah 48
This is a message about Moab.
According to Josephus, Moab was destroyed in the twenty third year of Nebuchadnezzar's reign.
Application:
Apparently the Moabites did not learn either! They did not learn from the mistakes of the past. One of the sins of Moab was pride. You cannot go against God and his proophecies. Why is it that we don't learn from the sins of others and obey God? Do you know why there are prophecies before the actual fulfilment. There are warning of things that will happen so that there is a chance to repent. Remember mercy precedes judgement.

30 I know her insolence but it is futile,"
declares the LORD,
"and her boasts accomplish nothing.

Psalm 92 is a psalm of celebration of God's righteouse rule over His people. Verse 5 means a lot: How great are your works, O Lord, how profound your thoughts.
Psalm 93 is a psalm of praise to God. God is king and his throne is firmly established long ago. Is He the king of your life?
