Today's Reading is Ezekiel 2

Ezekiel 2
Ezekiel had a call from God> His ministry would not be easy because he was sent to a rebellious nation, who may not listen to his words of warning (foretell) or his prophesying (forthtell). He was encouraged not to be afraid of the people and he was niot rebel like the people of Judah who were in exile with him.

Application:
We all have a call as well! It is called the Great Comission (Matthew 28). We are to be witnessed for Him. People may listen to us. We should not take it personally if they do not receive Christ or believe in Him. It is the Spirit who does the work in changine men lives.

Verses to meditate on:
3 He said: "Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; they and their fathers have been in revolt against me to this very day. 4 The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says.' 5 And whether they listen or fail to listen—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been among them.
