Lamentations 2
Lamentation 2
Go was angry over the sin of Judah. Judah reap what she sowed. He sent the Babylonians to devastate Judah.
We are under the illusion that God is a God of love and He would turn the other way when Christians sin. The churches have taught that God is a God of Love. I have had discussions with pastors from different churches and they don’t get it. God is a God of love BUT He is a God of Judgement. The sooner we understand this the better prepared we will be for the near future when Christ will return as a Lion, as Judge and King!
Verse to meditate on:
Lamentation 2,11: “ 11 My eyes fail from weeping,
I am in torment within,
my heart is poured out on the ground
because my people are destroyed,
because children and infants faint
in the streets of the city.
